New Technology of Processing Maize Alcohol Lees Liquid 
                                               --A new profit increase point for alcohol factory


1. Brief Introduction:
At present maize alcohol lees liquid produced by alcohol factory are processed as DDG(S) viz. lees albumen feed with price of only RMB 1200-1600 Yuan/Ton. Homogeneous competition has been appeared, and profit space is quite limited. DDG(S) is rich in maize oil (11-13%), which market price reaches RMB 11000-13000 Yuan/Ton. If maize oil can be extracted from DDG(S), great profit increase space will be brought to alcohol factory.

Our company is a professional technical company in extracting maize oil, soybean oil, peanut oil, vegetable seeds oil, biological diesel oil and other vegetable oils, has the ability of research, design, manufacture, installation, and debugging of complete grease project. With long-term research and practice, our company has mastered the full set technology of extracting maize oil in the course of processing DDG(S). 2. Applicable scope:
This technology is applied to large and medium scale alcohol producing enterprises with maize as raw material to dig potentials and increase profit, and also applied to enterprises which can purchase raw material to extract maize germ oil. 

3. Technical content:
3.1 Technical principle and technological process:
On the basis of existing DDG(S) processing technology and equipment, add some processes and equipments for grease extraction, evaporating and separating, grease refine, and extracting biological diesel oil, before packing process, and then production upgrade is accomplished.

The final products will be changed from original single DDG(S) into maize oil, biological diesel oil, and DDG(S) with higher albumen content.

Technical process:

Maize lees after being dried shall be delivered to oil workshop, and maize germ oil shall be extracted from maize lees here. Residual wet lees shall be conveyed to desolventizer toaster for exsolution and drying, and the dried lees can be sold as DDG(S). Mixing oil extracted can be circularly utilized after being evaporated and refined and solvent being extracted and then cooled. Crude oil can be conveyed to refine workshop for refining as edible nutrient oil and then put on the market. Oil footings produced in the process of evaporation and refine can be directly esterified, and then can be regenerated as biological diesel oil after being rectifying. 

3.2 Technical indexes:
3.2.1 Products are in conformity with relevant national standards.
3.2.2 Albumen content in DDG(S) after extracting oil can increase 3-5%, grease content 1%, and color and luster can be improved.
3.2.3 Utility consumption: steam 400kg/T (raw material); solvent 4kg/T (raw material); electricity 15kw/T (raw material). (Only for extracting part)

4. Production scale and output:
(Yearly producing one hundred thousand tons DDG(S), only for extracting part)
4.1 Plant area: about 1200m2
4.2 Locally three stories frame
4.3 Major equipments: flat turn extraction apparatus, desolventizer toaster, condenser, evaporator, stripping column, circulating pump, scraper conveyer, tail gas recovery unit, integrated diversion device
4.4 Main raw materials and sources: dry lees from waste mash produced in the course of producing alcohol at maize alcohol factory.

5. Market analysis and benefit forecast:
This project can bring magnificent economic benefit and social benefit. The albumen content in DDG(S) after making oil is increased, market selling looks good, and semi-finished oil can be refined as edible nutrient oil and then put on the market directly. Oil footings can be esterified and produced as biological diesel oil, which shall bring significant economic benefit. 

Calculated according to production facilities of yearly yield 100,000tons DDG(S):
Basic parameters:
Yearly consumption of DDG(S): 100,000 tons
Extracting oil: 8.5%
Fatty acid: 1.5%

5.1 Income
5.1.1 Income from refined maize oil calculated with the lowest price of finished oil RMB 11,000Yuan per ton: 100,000 tons ×8.5% ×RMB 11,000Yuan per ton = RMB 93.5 million Yuan.
5.1.2 Income from DDG(S) albumen feed calculated by RMB 1,300Yuan per ton: 100,000 tons ×90% ×RMB 1,300Yuan per ton = RMB 117 million Yuan.
5.1.3 Income from fatty acid calculated by RMB 4,600Yuan per ton: 100,000 tons ×1.5% ×RMB 4,600Yuan per ton = RMB 6.9 million Yuan.
5.1.4 Total income: 0.935+1.17+0.069= RMB 217.4 million Yuan

5.2 Cost:
5.2.1 Cost of raw materials calculated by present highest price of DDG(S) RMB 1,600Yuan per ton: RMB 1,600Yuan/T ×100,000 tons = RMB 160 Million Yuan
5.2.2 Cost of extraction calculated by RMB 80Yuan per ton: RMB 80Yuan/T×100,000 tons = RMB 8 Million Yuan
5.2.3 Cost of refine calculated by RMB 200Yuan per ton: RMB 200Yuan/T×100,000 tons ×10%= RMB 2 Million Yuan
5.2.4 Total cost: 1.6+0.08+0.02= RMB 170 million Yuan

5.3 Profit and tax:
Space of profit and tax: 2.174-1.7= RMB 47.4 Million Yuan
Profit margin: 0.474/(10×0.16)=30%
The space of profit and tax shall be bigger if fatty acid could be transferred as biological diesel oil.

5.4 Total investment:
Cost of equipments and construction: about RMB 25million Yuan
Period for recovery of investment: about half a year
